Pasta Sauce by Arthur Furman

Ingredients
  • 1 pound Italian Sausage
  • 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Tomato Sauce
  • As Needed Sea Salt
  • As Needed Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 each Large Onion, Diced
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
  • As Needed Garlic
  • 1 liquid cup Red Wine
  • 1 1/2 pounds Pasta
Preparation
  1. In a frying pan, saute sausage; put aside.
  2. In a pot, slow cook the Furmano's Tomato Sauce and spices.
  3. In frying pan, saute onions in butter until slightly brown. Add mushrooms; set aside.
  4. Add the meat to pot of sauce.
  5. Add the onions, garlic and mushrooms to the sauce.
  6. Add wine to the sauce.
  7. Cook for 3 to 6 hours.
  8. Serve over pasta with garlic bread.
