Tomato, Mushroom & Chicken Soup

Ingredients
  • 1/3 pound Mushrooms, Sliced Thinly
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Butter
  • 1 5/8 pounds Chicken Broth
  • 2 1/2 cups Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, Cooked & Chopped
  • 1 7/8 cups Furmano's Tomato Sauce
  • 1 5/6 cups Furmano's Whole Peeled Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 1 each Package Italian Salad Dressing Mix
  • 1 cup Rice
Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, cook mushrooms in butter.
  2. Add the chicken broth, chicken chunks, Furmano's Tomato Sauce, Furmano's Whole Peeled Tomatoes and salad dressing package. Stir very well until all blended; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat; cover; simmer 10-15 minutes.
  4. Stir in uncooked rice.
  5. Cover; let stand 10 minutes without removing the lid.
