Chicken Pomodoro

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 cups Onion, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • As Needed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Whole Peeled Tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Basil, Chopped
  • 1 pound Cooked Pasta
  • 8 ounces Boneless Chicken Breast, Sliced
Preparation
  1. Placed Furmano's Whole Peeled Tomatoes in a large bowl. With clean hands, grasp and crush tomatoes. Set aside.
  2. In a large saute pan over medium heat, add olive oil. Add chicken, and brown.
  3. Next, add onion. Saute until translucent, then add garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Add tomatoes and juice. Heat to 165 degrees.
  5. Add basil and cooked pasta just before serving, mix and serve.
