Homemade Italian Chicken Soup



  • 3 pounds Whole Chicken
  • 1 cup Celery, Chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, Chopped
  • 1 cup Onions, Chopped
  • 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Crushed Tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Italian Parsley
  • 1 pound Egg Noodles
  • As Needed Parmesan Cheese
  1. In a large stock pot, put in the chicken and fill to 3/4 full with water. Cover pot (slightly open); bring to a rapid boil. Drain out all the water.
  2. Add fresh cold water to chicken; bring to a boil. Add celery, carrots, onions, Furmano's Crushed Tomatoes, salt, pepper, and parsley. Cook 2 hours on medium/high heat.
  3. Take chicken out and cool. Take all the meat off the chicken and add back to pot.
  4. Bring to a boil; add egg noodles and cook according to package directions.
  5. Serve with parmesan cheese on top.
