Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons Water
- 1/2 cup Onion, Finely Diced
- 1 tablespoon Garlic, Minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Dry Oregano
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/8 tablespoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 cup Rice
- 1 cup Furmano's Chunky Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 tablespoon Cilantro, Chopped
Preparation
- In a pot over medium heat, add olive oil.
- Then add onion and garlic. Saute until translucent.
- Next, add cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and white rice. Saute until rice becomes clear.
- Add Furmano's Chunky Crushed Tomatoes, chicken broth, and cilantro. Bring to a boil and hold for five minutes. Stir constantly.
- Cover pot, remove from heat, and let steep for 20 minutes.
