Swiss Steak

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1 pound Boneless Round Steak, ¾" Thick, Cut In Strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil
  • 1 3/4 cups Furmano's Whole Peeled Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 1 cup Green Pepper, Sliced
Preparation
  1. In plastic bag, combine flour, mustard and pepper.
  2. Add beef, shake to coat.
  3. In skillet with oil, brown meat
  4. Stir in tomatoes.
  5. Cover; simmer stirring occasionally for 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
  6. Add onion and pepper.
  7. Simmer covered 10 minutes more.
  8. Spoon over cooked egg noodles if desired.
