Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds Flank Steak
1 clove Garlic, Minced
1 7/8 cups
Furmano's Crushed Tomatoes
4 each Medium Green Peppers, Cut In Strips
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Ginger
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 teaspoon Sugar
1 1/4 liquid cups Beef Bouillon Stock
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
Preparation
Cut meat into thin strips across the grain.
In a pan, heat oil, then brown meat.
Add garlic and saute lightly until it becomes translucent.
Stir in Furmano's Crushed Tomatoes and the peppers.
Add soy sauce, pepper, sugar, ginger and 3/4 cup of the beef stock.
Cover; simmer 25 minutes or until the meat is tender.
Blend cornstarch with the remaining beef stock and stir into the mixture.
Bring to a boil; then simmer about 3 minutes stirring constantly until juices thicken.
Serve over noodles or rice.
