Aloha Hawaiian Chili

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Smoked Ham, Diced
  • 1 each Onion, Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Green Pepper, Diced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple, Crushed
  • 2 cups Furmano's Red Kidney Beans
  • 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 each Jalapeno Pepper, Seeded & Chopped
Preparation
  1. Saute over medium heat - ham, onions, and green pepper in butter until lightly browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  2. Add garlic and saute 1 minute more.
  3. Open cans of pineapple, diced tomatoes and red kidney beans and save all liquids.
  4. Add pineapple, Furmano's Diced Tomatoes and Furmano's Red Kidney Beans and 1 cup of the save liquids.
  5. Stir to mix well and simmer about 45 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve over hot rice, noodles or all on its own in a big bowl.
