Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Olive Oil
- 9 cups Super Firm Tofu, Cubed
- 4 1/2 cups Red Pepper, Diced
- 3 cups Green Pepper, Diced
- 1 1/2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups Red Onion, Diced
- 1/2 cup Garlic, Minced
- 6 cups Furmano's Black Beans, Drained & Rinsed
- 1 1/4 cups Soy Sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 3/4 cup Corn Starch
- 1 1/2 quarts Water
- 3/4 teaspoon Dry Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Salt
Preparation
- Place a large saute pan over high heat. Add tofu, reduce heat to medium.
- When tofu begins to brown, add red pepper, green pepper, mushrooms, red onion, and garlic. Saute until vegetables begin to tenderize.
- Add Furmano's Black Beans and heat to 180 degrees.
- In a separate container, mix soy sauce, red pepper flakes, cornstarch, water, ginger, and salt.
- Pour contents of container into vegetables, then heat to 180 degrees.
