Whole Wheat Chicken, Mushroom, and Artichoke Pizza



  • 1 each Prepared Whole Wheat Pizza Crust
  • 6 ounces Marinated Artichoke Hearts, Drained & Liquid Reserved
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 3/4 cup Furmano's Pizza Sauce
  • 1/2 pound Mozzarella, Shredded
  • 1/4 cup Pecorino Romano Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 each Ripe Roma Tomato, Cut In Half & Sliced Thin
  • 1/4 cup White Button Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1/4 cup Chicken, Cooked & Diced
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Place pizza crust on a pizza pan.
  3. Pour the liquid from the artichokes into a small skillet, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook for 1 minute, or until the liquid is almost gone.
  4. Add garlic, and cook, stirring until aromatic (about 30 seconds).
  5. Add artichoke hearts, stir, then remove from heat, and set aside.
  6. Spread pizza sauce over the prepared pizza crust.
  7. Sprinkle with cheeses, then place the artichoke hearts and garlic over the cheese.
  8. Arrange tomato slices, mushroom and chicken, evenly over the top.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until crust is puffed and golden, and cheese is melted.
