Ingredients
2 teaspoons Garlic, Crushed
1/4 cup Olive Oil
7 cups
Furmano's Plum Tomatoes
2 tablespoons Salt
2 teaspoons Black Pepper
2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1 each Bunch Basil, Chopped
1 pound Fettuccine
2 pound Shrimp, De-Veined
As Needed Parmesan Cheese
Preparation
In a large pot, put water on to boil for pasta, adding a bit of salt.
In another pot, saute garlic in olive oil until lightly golden.
Add Furmano's Plum Tomatoes; crushing them a little in the pot.
Add salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and basil.
Cook sauce about 25 minutes on medium-low heat.
Add pasta to boiling salt water and cook as directed on pasta package.
When sauce is done, add shrimp; cook 5 minutes longer.
Drain pasta very well; add to the sauce pot; mix well.
Serve in a family style platter and put parmesan cheese on top.
