Ingredients
- 2 cups Spiral Macaroni
- 1 each Egg, Beaten
- 2 fluid ounces Milk
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Grated
- 8 ounces Ground Beef
- 1 each Small Onion, Chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 each Medium Pepper, Cut Into Strips
- 1 5/6 cups Furmano's Diced Tomatoes
- 4 1/2 ounces Sliced Mushrooms, Drained
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
Preparation
- Cook pasta and drain.
- For pasta crust, in a large bowl, combine egg, milk and parmesan cheese; stir in pasta.
- Spread pasta mixture evenly in a greased 12" pizza pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until meat is brown; drain.
- Add pepper, and Furmano's Diced Tomatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 10 to 12 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates.
- Stir in mushrooms.
- Spoon meat mixture over pizza crust.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 12 minutes or more until cheese is melted.
- Cut into wedges.
